Anmeldelse af Helge Haystrup, Augustinstudier 11, Skriftsyn, skriftudlægning og skriftforståelse
Abstract
This review [in Danish] treats a recent work by Helge Haystrup on the Hermeneutics of Sct. Augustine, Volume 11 of 15 by that author on the great Latin Church Father. Central in Haystrup’s argumentation is the work De doctrine christiana. He describes Sct. Augustine’s distinction between the historical meaning of a place in Scripture, and its spiritual importance, between the “res” and the “signa” of the text. The review emphasises the relevancy of the thematics to present-day historians.
